Head of Finance

Job Description : Head of Finance in Dubai, UAE. Our Real Estate looking for an experienced and commercially-minded finance leader to oversee the financial operations of a fast-paced and growing business. This role demands more than just technical accounting expertise; the ideal candidate will be an established people leader who can operate confidently at a senior management level, influence stakeholders across the organization, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth. Key Responsibilities include: - Leading and developing the finance function, offering direction, coaching, and mentorship to the finance team. - Managing all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance activities. - Partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business planning. - Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, controls, and reporting frameworks. - Supporting organizational growth initiatives, business transformation projects, and operational improvements. - Acting as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing commercially focused financial insight. - Developing financial strategies that align with both short-term objectives and long-term organizational goals. - Ensuring the finance function supports multiple business units, departments, and operational stakeholders. Key requirements include: ? Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) ? Proven experience leading and developing finance teams of 5+ people ? 10-15 years experience in a large, complex, fast-paced organization ? Strong commercial and strategic finance capability ? Ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders ? Experience in supporting business growth, transformation, and operational excellence ? Executive presence and leadership maturity to lead from the front and command credibility across the organization.
