Finance Controller

Job Description : Finance Controller | Dubai, UAE Our client, a Dubai-based international group, is looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join their team as a Finance Controller. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in trading and banking operations, with the ability to manage complex finance functions across multiple markets. Mandatory Requirements: ? Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) ? 10–14 years of finance experience ? UAE finance experience is essential ? Trading industry experience – Mandatory ? Banking & Trade Finance knowledge – Mandatory ? Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, audits, and compliance ? Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls ? ERP experience and advanced Excel skills Preferred Profile: • Candidates with UAE experience and exposure to international operations • Experience supporting businesses in markets such as Ghana, Bangladesh, or similar emerging markets is preferred • Strong exposure to cross-border taxation, import/export documentation, banking relationships, and regulatory compliance • Experience working in multicultural environments and international trading groups The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finance operations, managing banking relationships, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. ????
