Job Description : Plant Manager – Soyabean & Sunflower Solvent Extraction Plant | Uganda ???? Are you an accomplished Plant Manager with extensive experience in Edible Oil Manufacturing or Solvent Extraction Plants? Here's an excellent opportunity to lead a large-scale manufacturing facility with one of our esteemed clients in Uganda. ???? Salary: Up to USD 4,000 Net Savings per Month Key Responsibilities: ? Lead end-to-end plant operations including seed preparation, solvent extraction, oil recovery, meal handling, and utilities. ? Drive production efficiency, maximize oil yield, and minimize solvent losses. ? Oversee maintenance, utilities, inventory, procurement coordination, dispatch planning, and commercial operations. ? Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, statutory regulations, and environmental norms. ? Lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and plant profitability. Candidate Profile: ? 15–20 years of experience in Soyabean/Sunflower Solvent Extraction or Edible Oil Manufacturing. ? Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Oil Technology, or a related discipline. ? Strong expertise in production, maintenance, utilities, inventory management, cost optimization, and commercial coordination. ? Proven leadership experience in managing large manufacturing plants. Mandatory Requirements: ? Indian Nationals currently based in India ? No prior African work experience ? Willingness to relocate to Uganda
