Job Description : Chief of Exports to lead and accelerate our global business across international subsidiaries and dealer networks. Reporting to the executive leadership team, this role carries full responsibility for international sales strategy, commercial performance, market expansion, subsidiary leadership, and customer success across key global markets. The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader with deep experience in machine tools, capital equipment, or industrial automation, and a proven track record of growing export revenues from an Indian or global manufacturing base. Location: Bengaluru, India (Global Role) Industry: Machine Tools / Capital Equipment / Industrial Automation Experience: 20–25+ Years Organisation Structure The Chief of Exports will lead a lean, internationally distributed organisation comprising: Four International Subsidiaries (China, Mexico, UAE, and Germany), each led by a Country/Regional Head responsible for in-market sales, application support, service, and spare parts. Global Dealer & Distributor Network spanning 20+ countries, operating on a commission-based sales model. India Operations Team (Bengaluru) responsible for export order coordination, subsidiary reporting, spare parts logistics, and dealer onboarding. India Market Development Team focused on identifying new markets, qualifying channel partners, and executing market-entry initiatives. Key Responsibilities International Sales Strategy & Market Expansion Develop and execute the company's global export growth strategy across existing and emerging markets. Identify new international opportunities and define market-entry strategies, including channel development, pricing, and positioning. Drive competitive positioning and application-based selling to improve market share and win rates. Subsidiary & Dealer Network Leadership Lead and mentor subsidiary heads across China, Mexico, UAE, and Germany, ensuring accountability for commercial performance. Strengthen the global dealer and distributor network by driving capability, performance standards, and customer experience excellence. Build scalable channel management processes and governance frameworks. P&L & Commercial Governance Own the complete international business P&L, delivering revenue, profitability, and growth objectives. Develop pricing strategies, commission structures, and commercial policies for subsidiaries and channel partners. Manage working capital, debtor days, forecasting, and the order-to-cash process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. MBA from a recognized institution preferred.
