Job Description : ICT PROCUREMENT HEAD NIGERIA ICT Procurement will lead the end-to-end acquisition strategy for enterprise-wide technology assets, software licensing, and digital infrastructure services. You will serve as the primary bridge between technical requirements and commercial execution, ensuring that the company's digital transformation roadmap is supported by cost-effective, scalable, and high-quality vendor partnerships. This role involves frequent collaboration with C-suite executives, global IT stakeholders, and legal teams to mitigate risk and optimize the total cost of ownership for all ICT investments. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate and execute comprehensive ICT procurement strategies to align with the company's long-term digital infrastructure goals and operational requirements. - Lead high-stakes contract negotiations with global technology vendors and service providers to secure favorable commercial terms and service level agreements. - Manage the full lifecycle of ICT vendor relationships, ensuring consistent performance, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to budgetary constraints. - Oversee the procurement of complex hardware, enterprise software, and cloud service solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing industrial systems. - Mitigate supply chain risks by conducting rigorous market analysis and maintaining a diverse, reliable portfolio of technology partners. - Drive cost-optimization initiatives across the ICT portfolio to improve bottom-line performance without compromising on technical quality or security standards. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale ICT procurement portfolios within the oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors. - Exceptional ability to navigate complex contract law and international procurement regulations, ensuring full compliance with Nigerian local content requirements. - Strong interpersonal skills to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams through high-pressure negotiations. - Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar technology budgets and delivering significant year-over-year cost savings. - Ability to thrive in an on-site, high-intensity corporate environment, maintaining operational continuity across multiple project sites. - A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration, complemented by relevant professional certifications in procurement or project management. - 15 to 25 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and technology procurement, with a deep understanding of the Nigerian energy market landscape.
