Job Description : GM / Head – New Product Development (NPD) | Automotive Industry |CANADA A leading Automotive Manufacturing organization is looking to hire an experienced General Manager – New Product Development (NPD) with strong expertise in Aluminium Die Casting. 25 Years We are looking for a senior professional who has strong exposure to New Product Development (NPD) within aluminium die casting operations for automotive components. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) from concept to production. • Manage product development for automotive aluminium die casting components. • Work closely with design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product launches. • Drive tooling development, process optimization, and manufacturability improvements. • Coordinate with automotive OEM customers on product requirements and development timelines. • Ensure adherence to automotive quality standards such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA. • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within cost, quality, and timeline targets. Candidate Requirements ? 25 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing ? Strong expertise in New Product Development (NPD) ? Mandatory experience in Aluminium Die Casting ? Experience working with automotive OEMs ? Strong understanding of die casting processes, tooling development, and product engineering ? Leadership experience managing engineering and product development teams ???? Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy or related engineering discipline.
