Our client is a $1BN+ multi-brand retailer is seeking one of Europe's most accomplished female marketing executives to lead a complex private label portfolio through its next phase of transformation. If you are seeking your first VP opportunity, this role is not for you! WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR This search is deliberately narrow. We are interested in elite female marketing leaders who have built their careers inside Europe's leading FMCG organisations or major retail groups. You will have personally led the strategic direction of multiple brands, transforming commercial performance whilst building high-performing marketing organisations that consistently outperform competitors. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE 15+ years of progressive strategic marketing leadership. Executive leadership within European FMCG or major retail organisations. Ownership of multi-brand and private label portfolios. Leadership of 20+ senior marketing leaders, including Heads of Marketing and Marketing Directors. Full responsibility for 360° marketing strategy, innovation, customer proposition, brand architecture and commercial growth. Significant experience leading large-scale organisational transformation. Close partnership with CEO, Board and Executive Committee. WHAT WE WILL NOT CONSIDER! This search is intentionally selective. We are not looking for: First-time Vice Presidents. Aspirational candidates. Individuals stepping up from Head of Marketing. Agency-only backgrounds. Predominantly digital or communications specialists. Candidates with repeated 2–3 year tenures demonstrating limited long-term ownership. We value leaders who build, transform and remain long enough to deliver measurable results.
