Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER SURINAME Are you a strategic financial leader ready to drive operational excellence in the regional Oil & Gas sector? We are looking for a powerhouse Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in Suriname, with additional strategic support extended to the wider regional operations. In this pivotal leadership role, you will report directly to the Country Manager and matrix into the regional executive team to safeguard assets, drive budgeting, and fuel regional growth. ???? Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure strict compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS). Strategic Planning: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and deep-dive financial analysis to guide executive decision-making. Internal Controls & Audits: Maintain robust internal controls and seamlessly coordinate internal and external audits. People Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and foster the professional development of the local finance team. ???? Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA, CPA, or ACCA certification is highly preferred. Experience: 7–10 years in financial management, with at least 5 years securely under your belt in a senior finance role. Languages: Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken English and Dutch. Tech Skills: Advanced MS Excel modeling skills and proficiency in major financial software like SAP or Oracle. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desired. Corporate Experience: Prior experience working within a European conglomerate will be an added advantage.
