Chief Operation Officer

Job Description : COO DELHI FOR SALES AND DISTRIBUTION FIRM Company : An extremely fast-growing Sales and Distribution organization having vast presence across India, the Middle East and other neighboring countries with hundreds of products in their portfolio. Have multiple offices, branches, warehouses and a very strong distribution network across locations. Location : Delhi Reporting to : CEO and needs to closely work with company Directors/Founders Team Structure : 7-8 leaders as direct reports. Almost half of the company's employees to fall under this role. Experience Range : 18-27 Years Role : To oversee the organization's ongoing operations and procedures as a key member of the senior management team. The COO is responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse business operations and establishing and following a set of policies and processes. To Collaborate with the CEO in driving organizational vision &operational strategy Scope of role : Following functions will come under the purview of this role with their respective leaders as direct reports : - Supply Chain Management - Customer Service - Regulatory - Sales Operations This role is also expected to drive change, make systems robust and strong with exceptional leadership qualities. Further, the candidate should be able to identify himself with all levels in the company and should excel in Stakeholder Management. Needs to ensure customer delight and provide services that are in line with the commitment to the customers & stakeholders. Here are some more expectations from the role : - Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures - Analyse internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement - Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO - Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting - Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders - To provide day-to-day leadership and management. - Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives - Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, policies, processes, and staff - Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) - Overall responsibility for the profitability and growth of the company, as well as the effectiveness of its business and operational processes. - Make necessary and timely business decisions and provide competent leadership on core activities, strategic planning and resource allocation issues. - Continuous improvement, quality assurance and process improvement with regard to products and processes. - Ensuring service quality and exceptional customer experience. - Deployment of utmost-standard management information systems. - Establishing business priorities and ensuring effective coordination towards their achievement. - Ensuring total regulatory and legal compliance in all the company's activities. - Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance. - Highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas. - Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, presentation and public speaking skills, both practiced and impromptu. - Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations - Dedication to building and growing a strong and stable workforce - Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office - Understanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics - Ability to inspire confidence and create trust. - Strong leadership quality with determination in creating system/processes and following systems/processes
