VP ASIA OPERATIONS
20 yearsJob Description : VP ASIA OPERATIONS VIETNAM Senior leadership role responsible for overseeing operations across Asia, driving operational excellence, quality assurance, product compliance, supplier performance, ESG initiatives, and regulatory adherence. Serving as the Chief Representative Officer for the Vietnam office, this position partners with cross-functional teams to support global growth, continuous improvement, and talent development. Key Responsibilities · Lead all operational activities across Asia, ensuring product quality, compliance, service, and on-time delivery. · Develop and execute regional operational strategies aligned with business objectives. · Provide executive oversight for Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Testing, ESG programs, and supplier performance. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. · Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, conduct reviews, and support onboarding of strategic manufacturing partners. · Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements, product safety standards, and testing protocols. · Oversee product qualification, laboratory testing, certifications, and corrective action processes. · Collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Merchandising teams. · Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing multicultural teams across the region. · Support succession planning, talent development, organizational growth, and budget management. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field. · 15+ years of leadership experience in international operations, manufacturing, quality, or supply chain management in furniture industry · Proven success leading cross-cultural teams and complex regional operations. · Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, Supply Chain Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Product Testing, Factory Operations, ESG, Risk Management, and Continuous Improvement. · Experience with global sourcing networks, supplier management, and manufacturing environments; furniture industry experience preferred. · Demonstrated capability in transformation, operational improvement, quality enhancement, and compliance initiatives. · Strong strategic planning, financial management, change leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. · Commitment to ethical sourcing, social compliance, governance standards, and responsible business practices.
