Job Description : Chief Executive Officer | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing UAE Chief Executive Officer for a strategically important pharmaceutical manufacturing business entering its next phase of growth and value creation. This is a rare opportunity to lead the evolution of a specialist manufacturing platform backed by an established healthcare group and significant long-term investment. The successful executive will define the strategic direction, strengthen organisational capability, accelerate commercial growth and position the business for its next stage of development. The CEO will have full accountability for enterprise performance, with the mandate to shape strategy, scale operations, build leadership capability and drive sustainable commercial success across regional markets. A hybrid working model is available, with location details shared as part of the confidential search process. The Opportunity: Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will assume full ownership of the business, including strategy, operations, commercial performance and financial outcomes. Key priorities will include: - Leading the continued growth and development of a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing platform. - Defining and executing commercial strategy, including business development, strategic partnerships and market expansion. - Delivering strong P&L performance through a balance of growth, operational excellence and profitability. - Building and leading a high-performing executive team across manufacturing, commercial, quality, regulatory and finance. - Identifying and developing licensing, partnership and manufacturing opportunities to enhance the portfolio. - Driving operational scalability, capacity expansion and continuous improvement. - Building trusted relationships with the Board, regulators, healthcare stakeholders and strategic partners. - Establishing the governance, reporting and performance frameworks required for a world-class organisation. The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking an accomplished pharmaceutical manufacturing leader with a proven track record of scaling GMP-regulated operations and driving business performance. The successful candidate will bring: - End-to-end leadership experience across commercial, manufacturing and operational functions. - A strong record of delivering P&L performance, growth and sustainable value creation. - Expertise in business development, strategic partnerships and market expansion. - Experience leading organisations through growth, transformation and operational complexity. - The credibility to engage effectively with Boards, regulators and strategic stakeholders. Experience within specialty pharmaceuticals, complex manufacturing or rare disease therapies is highly desirable.
