VP / Head of Cost Control

The Impact You'll Make As VP Head of Cost Control, you will be the financial compass guiding the development and construction projects from concept to completion. Your leadership will ensure that budgets are not just numbers on a spreadsheet, but living, strategic tools that drive smarter decisions, protect margins, and deliver projects on time and within scope. You’ll be the bridge between project teams, finance, and leadership—turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. What You'll Do Lead the cost control function across multiple large-scale real estate developments in asset classes across key market drivers. residential / mid to high end and super lux sectors/ across high rise apartments, master planned villa and community development with complex social infrastructure needs to mixed use, and super lux branded hospitality and resorts and branded residences. Taking an array through the cost control process of pre development, to development and construction, ensuring financial discipline at every stage. Develop and implement robust cost management frameworks, from initial estimates to final accounts. Oversee budget forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera, SAP, or CostX). Partner with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial performance in real time. Mentor and develop a team of cost controllers, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. What You'll Bring Proven leadership experience in cost control within the construction industry (preferably on projects $300M+). any many of them, from inception to completion, no jumping mid way.. but seeing through to the end! Main contractor T1 or Development background as Commercial leader at Regional Commercial Director/ VP Commercial or similar. Consulting can be considered if management consulting at a globally renowned firm. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or similar) and cost management methodologies. Proficiency in cost control software and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for operational excellence. Salary is from 80K AED pm to 110K AED pm range.. Crore per annum
