Logistics Manager

Job Description : Logistics Manager (French Language preferred) Location – DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) , Kinshasa Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end freight forwarding, port agency, customs brokerage, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent operational knowledge, and proven experience in business development, customer relationship management, and strategic planning within the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities · Manage overall logistics, freight forwarding, and port operations. · Oversee import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements. · Supervise vessel agency, NVOCC operations, fleet management, stevedoring, and bulk cargo activities. · Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. · Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while driving performance and achieving business targets. · Build and maintain strong relationships with Logistics lines, port authorities, customs officials, government agencies, clients, and business partners. · Ensure timely execution of cargo movements and documentation processes. · Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and financial performance to achieve organizational goals. · Identify business development opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives. · Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, safety standards, and quality procedures. · Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous process improvements. Experience · 10+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Port Agency, or Supply Chain Operations. · Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role with Business Development.
