Job Description : CFO RETAIL UK/EUROPE Open to International candidates with 25+ years experience Re location support in full provided A leading $3 billion international multi category retail group is seeking a commercially driven Group Chief Financial Officer to lead finance across a complex, high-volume retail operation spanning multiple European markets. With 2,800+ stores and 5,000 employees, this is a board-level leadership role for an executive who understands the pace, complexity and commercial demands of modern grocery retail. Key Responsibilities - Lead Group Finance across multiple European regions. - Partner with the CEO and Board to shape long-term strategy, growth and profitability. - Drive commercial performance, margin improvement and working capital optimisation. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, compliance and financial governance. - Deliver financial transformation, ERP optimisation and data-driven decision making. - Support expansion, acquisitions and capital investment across the region. - Build and lead a high-performing international finance leadership team. We are looking for: - Current or previous Group CFO, Regional CFO or Finance Director within large-scale grocery, food retail, FMCG or discount retail. - Proven leadership within complex multi-country retail environments. - Strong commercial mindset with exceptional board-level influencing capability. - Experience leading large finance functions through transformation and growth. - Exposure to SAP, Oracle or equivalent enterprise ERP platforms.
