Design and engineering: Review and approve structural designs, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with codes and quality standards. Construction supervision: Oversee all on-site structural construction, including foundations, concrete, and steel work, to ensure adherence to plans, quality standards, and safety protocols. Budget and financial control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and forecast costs for all structural components. Risk and safety management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement and enforce site safety plans and protocols. Stakeholder communication: Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure project goals are met. Reporting and compliance: Prepare detailed progress reports and ensure all structural work complies with local, national, and environmental regulations and permits. Proven experience in highway or heavy civil construction projects with a focus on structural elements. Knowledge of structural calculations, modeling software, and relevant building codes. Expertise in technical specifications, codes, and standards used for highway & bridge construction
