Job Description : Senior Manager – Maintenance (SMS) We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Maintenance (Steel Melt Shop) for a leading steel manufacturing company in Ethiopia. This is a leadership role for a maintenance professional with extensive experience in Steel Melt Shop operations. ???? Location: Ethiopia Key Responsibilities ? Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for SMS equipment. ? Ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency. ? Plan and execute major shutdowns and maintenance projects. ? Drive root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. ? Lead and develop the maintenance team while ensuring compliance with safety standards. ? Work closely with production and engineering teams to achieve plant performance targets. Mandatory Requirements ? 15+ years of experience in Steel Melt Shop (SMS) maintenance. ? Hands-on experience with Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) and Induction Furnace is NON-NEGOTIABLE. ? Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, cranes, utilities, and heavy industrial equipment. ? Proven leadership experience in managing large maintenance teams. ? Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning.
