Port Manager

Job Description : Port Managers (Terminal) with extensive Port Management / Terminal Management experience within Oil and Gas industry NON-NEGOTIABLES FOR THIS ROLE AT EXPERT LEVEL • Port Managerial experience • Managerial experience of Terminals • PMP / IPMA or IRPC certificates • Responsible for the overall operation of a terminal, including administrative duties, and managing marine operations • Handling the inventory control, terminal budgeting, management of the personnel, and scheduling and staffing, among other duties • Being in charge for the various aspects of the terminal operations, and have strong knowledge of the issues pertaining to their facility • Meeting relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as promoting and encouraging safety • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of their workforce (including the managers, technicians, and factory support staff needed to ensure safe and secure working environment) • Manage facility within budget, execute maintenance program TERTIARY QUALIFICATION: • Accredited education or equivalent technical qualification • IRPC (Industry Recognized Port Certificate) Advantage
