PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER KUWAIT Role & responsibilities We are Hiring Production Manager with Exp in Flexible Packaging , Blown Film, Printing, Lamination, Slitting & Bag-Making operations for a leading Flexible Packaging in Kuwait Qualification - Bachelors degree / Diploma in Printing and Packaging Plastic / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing or any relevant field. Experience - Minimum 10 -15 years experience in Production and Manufacturing process of flexible packaging plant, Blown Film, Printing, Lamination, Slitting & Bag-Making operations and manufacturing process. Primary Job Objective To ensure all the SOPs are followed up by shift personnel. Setting of process specifications for products, Packaging materials and Ingredients in accordance with customer specifications. To ensure the scheduling of production & planning Process Wise. To ensure production & planning targets are met. To ensure all regulatory standards are followed including food safety management. To ensure wastage are under standard. To ensure to safety and housekeeping of plant. Duties & Responsibilities To Instruct Shift Personnel in his charge to maintain production optimum levels at all times. Monitoring all the SOPs are followed up by shift personnel. Ensuring machine utilization, idle time and the wastage are under specified norm. Follow the production plan and job specification while operating the machine. Responsible for making requisition of required materials for production. To ensure and maintain machine shop floor in neat, clean order. To ensure all the materials for cleaning and hygiene available all times and reported as appropriate. To raise daily production & planning shift report to the Plant Manager. Take proper action against any production personnel if fail to adhere with superior and along with HR department. Ensure proper implementation of CCP, PRP and OPRP in GPI. Overall responsibility for quality and Product safety of product and effectiveness of Corrective & Preventive Actions. To implement & monitor the effectiveness of FSMS. Ensuring relevant training of Product Safety Team. Raising daily production report to the accounting team. Ensure to monitor the stock of raw materials, inventory & all consumables are sufficient to do the production or if not sufficient then rise the flag to procurement team for follow up and completed. Supervisory Responsibility & Decision Making Responsible for all production & planning activity and team. Responsible for training to all production & planning team. Responsible for maintaining minimal wastage and maximum output of all processes. Stop any production which is against specification. Stop the machine if there are any abnormalities found in operation. Reject issued materials form Warehouse which is not matching required specification. Take disciplinary action with any production team member who refused to adhere with lay down rules and regulations with the knowledge and approval of Plant Manager. Required Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of flexible packaging plant, Blown Film, Printing, Lamination, Slitting & Bag-Making operations and manufacturing process. Creativity and an ability to think out of the box. Excellent communication skills Proficiency in the use of MS Office Leadership ability and strong management skills. Good data gathering and analysis skills. Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
