Job Description : QUALITY AND SAFETY HEAD FOR EDIBLE OIL, EAST AFRICA 15+ years experience Lead the development and implementation of QA QC systems and processes in the FMCG food manufacturing environment Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards to maintain product safety and quality Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and resolve quality-related issues Develop and oversee quality control procedures, including inspections and audits Manage and train the quality assurance team to maintain high performance levels Analyse quality data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement Liaise with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction The Successful Applicant A successful Head Quality should have: A degree in engineering, food technology, or chemical background Proven knowledge of quality management systems and standards in the edible oil sector Experience in food manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and collaboration skills
