Job Description : GM BEVERAGE SALES DRC Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Industry: Beverages / FMCG Reports To: CEO / Business Head Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth: - Develop and execute the annual sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. - Deliver sales volume, revenue, market share, and profitability targets. - Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration across DRC. 2. Route-to-Market & Distribution: - Strengthen and optimize the Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy. - Appoint, manage, and develop distributors to ensure effective market coverage. - Enhance product availability, visibility, and execution across all trade channels. 3. Trade & Key Account Management: - Drive sales across Modern Trade, General Trade, Wholesale, and HORECA channels. - Develop and manage relationships with key customers and strategic accounts. - Ensure effective execution of trade promotions and sales campaigns. 4. Sales Operations: - Monitor sales performance through KPIs and analytics. - Improve sales productivity, forecasting accuracy, and territory management. - Ensure effective demand planning in coordination with Supply Chain. 5. Team Leadership: - Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers and the sales team. - Build a performance-driven culture with clear goals and accountability. - Identify and develop future sales leaders within the organization. 6. Financial & Commercial Management: - Manage the sales budget and optimize trade investments. - Monitor pricing, margins, and profitability. - Ensure effective receivables management and credit control. 7. Stakeholder Management: - Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution. - Present business performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
