Salary: Attractive & Negotiable About the Role Rekrut HR Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturing company for an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO). The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversee the company's end-to-end operations across lubricant manufacturing, additives and chemicals importation, distribution, and plastic manufacturing. This executive role requires a visionary leader with a proven ability to drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, optimize supply chains, and lead high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. Oversee manufacturing operations to maximize productivity, quality, and efficiency. Lead procurement, importation, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and distribution functions. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement strategies. Manage operational budgets, cost optimization, and resource allocation. Build and lead high-performing operations, plant, and supply chain teams. Collaborate with executive leadership to support business growth and expansion. Strengthen supplier relationships and improve supply chain resilience. Requirements Bachelor's Degree/HND in Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related discipline. MBA or relevant Master's degree is required. Minimum of 12–15 years' progressive operations leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role. Strong experience in manufacturing, preferably within lubricants, chemicals, plastics, fuel, or related industrial sectors. Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-business operations. Strong background in supply chain management, procurement, import/export logistics, and manufacturing operations. COREN certification is an added advantage. Excellent leadership, strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality management systems (ISO), and operational excellence frameworks.
