Job Description : GM PROJECTS NAMIBIA 25+ YEARS BE / B.TECH CHEMICAL OR LEAD BUILD DELIVER MECHANICAL ENGINEERING KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Experience of green field Project initiation, planning & follow up culminating with Project implementation & successful commissioning which includes. On mechanical completion of Plant, ensure testing & pre-commissioning activities leading to successful commissioning of the Plant & facilities. Understand local laws & procedures and Getting clearances/approval of Land acquisition Drawing power line & development of power infrastructure at Site Drawing water line & laying of required infrastructure. Solid waste, sewage & effluent treatment & discharge • Obtaining environment clearance for Project construction and operation. Any other requirements to initiate Project work • Environment clearance for Project construction and operation • Any other statutory requirement to initiate Project work Liase with Project engineering & construction team to provide required assistance & support for Project implementation. Operation of medium/large Chemical facility. Project planning & implementation. REQUIREMENTS 25+ years of experience in Projects in the Chemical/ Process Industry Proven experience in greenfield projects from concept to commissioning Strong knowledge of local laws, statutory clearances & regulatory requirements Excellent leadership, coordination & communication skills Strong problem solving & decision making abilities ?Willingness to work in Namibia LEAD LARGE PROJECTS.
