Job Description : GM POLAND Open to International candidates Experience: 23+ Years ???? Industry: Engineering Manufacturing / Automotive Components / Power Transmission / Industrial Equipment We are looking for an accomplished Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for a large-scale engineering manufacturing facility. ???? Key Responsibilities: ? Lead overall Plant Operations, including Machine Shop, Assembly, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Production functions ? Drive manufacturing excellence through TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Production System initiatives ? Manage high-precision machining operations involving Casting & Forging Machining Centers, HMCs, Integrex, Turning, Broaching, and preferably Gear Cutting operations ? Drive improvements in OEE, OOE, MTTR, MTBF, productivity, cycle times, setup reduction, and manufacturing efficiency ? Ensure effective capacity utilization aligned with sales forecasts and customer delivery commitments (OTD) ? Lead assembly operations, preferably involving Gearboxes, Powertrain Products, Engines, Gear Motors, or similar engineered products ? Champion clean-floor assembly practices, traceability, process discipline, and customer-focused manufacturing culture ? Drive reduction in rejection rates, customer complaints, and quality non-conformances through structured problem-solving methodologies ? Lead cost optimization initiatives, CAPEX planning, budgeting, and operational cost reduction projects ? Manage large manufacturing teams and unionized workforces, including Long-Term Settlement (LTS) negotiations and employee relations ? Strengthen safety culture, audit compliance, TPM participation, Quality Circles, and workforce engagement programs ? Foster a high-performance culture through structured reviews, recognition programs, coaching, and leadership development ???? Desired Candidate Profile: ? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering ? 20+ years of progressive experience in Manufacturing Operations ? Strong exposure to Engineering Components, Automotive Components, Gear Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Power Transmission Products, or Make-to-Order Manufacturing environments ? Practical experience in: • Casting & Forging Machining Operations • HMC / VMC / Integrex / CNC Machining Centers • Gear Cutting Operations (Preferred) • Assembly Operations involving Gearboxes, Engines, or Powertrain Products • TPM & Lean Manufacturing • OEE / OOE / MTTR / MTBF Analysis • Continuous Improvement & Kaizen • SAP-Based Manufacturing Environment ? Strong understanding of geometric tolerances, process capability, machining variations, and root cause analysis ? Proven experience managing large manufacturing teams (500+ workforce preferred)
