Head of Purchase

Job Description : Head of Purchase for Civil Construction and Infrastructure projects in Congo, West Africa. This role requires a BE/BTECH in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, along with 20-30 years of experience in purchase and procurement. Key responsibilities include: - Leading the procurement function for large-scale civil, infrastructure, and building projects. - Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with project and organizational objectives. - Managing the end-to-end procurement process for civil construction and engineering projects. - Preparing procurement plans based on project schedules and coordinating with project planning and execution teams. - Sourcing local and international suppliers for construction materials, equipment, machinery, and subcontracting services. - Negotiating commercial terms, pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules. - Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
