General Manager

Job Description : General Manager (GM) ???? Location: Southern Africa ???? Reports To: Group Managing Director / Chairman About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Group General Manager to lead and oversee a diversified business portfolio comprising Construction, Security, Real Estate, and Agriculture. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and business expansion while working closely with the Group Managing Director. Compensation: US $2500 - US $3500 Net. Savings per month. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic direction and operations of all business units. Oversee Construction, Security, Real Estate, and Farming subsidiaries. Drive business growth, tendering, and project acquisition. Manage project costing, BOQs, budgets, and profitability. Monitor operational and financial performance across the Group. Build strong relationships with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements. Mentor senior leadership teams and develop a high-performance culture. Submit regular operational and business performance reports to the Group MD. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory). MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage. 10+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably managing multiple business units. Strong experience in construction, project management, tendering, budgeting, and strategic planning. Excellent leadership, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
