Job Description : FINANCE HEAD UGANDA 10 years experience 1. Financial Strategy and Planning; Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the companys overall business objectives. Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and financial statements. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. 2. Financial reporting and compliance; Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate and manage the external audit process. 3. Budgeting and Cost Management; Develop and oversee the monthly, quarterly & annual budgeting process. Monitor and analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements. 4. Cash Flow Management; Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operations. Optimize the companys capital structure and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Oversee investment activities and manage risks associated with financial assets. 5. Team Leadership and Development; Lead, oversee and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Provide training and development opportunities for finance staff. 6. Risk Management; Identify and mitigate financial risks through appropriate policies and controls. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations. Oversee insurance coverage and manage risk exposure. 7. Strategic Partnership and Collaboration; Collaborate with senior management and other departments to support business initiatives and drive financial performance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
