Job Description : Plant Manager Flexible Packaging | Ghana Location: Ghana Industry: Flexible Packaging is a must Experience: 15+ Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical/Printing/Packaging) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead the overall operations of a 24x7 flexible packaging conversion plant. The role involves complete responsibility for plant performance, production, quality, engineering, maintenance, warehouse, HSE, planning, cost control, and profitability. Mandatory Technical Experience · Flexible Packaging Conversion Industry is mandatory. · Hands-on experience with: o 8-Colour Rotogravure Printing o Solvent-Based & Solvent-less Lamination o Duplex, Triplex & 4-Ply Lamination o PVC Cold Seal/Glueing Lines o High-Speed Turret Slitters o Pouch Making & Shrink Sleeve Production · Exposure to Nordmeccanica, Kohli, or equivalent converting equipment is preferred. Key Responsibilities · Lead complete plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. · Manage Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Planning, and HSE teams. · Drive OEE, capacity utilization, preventive & predictive maintenance, and equipment reliability. · Own Plant P&L, operating budgets, manufacturing costs, and CAPEX projects. · Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, SMED, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis. · Improve productivity, reduce waste, customer complaints, and manufacturing costs. · Ensure compliance with quality systems, customer audits, and statutory regulations. · Develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Candidate Profile · 15+ years of experience in the Flexible Packaging industry. · Minimum 5 years of experience managing a complete flexible packaging plant. · Strong leadership experience with Plant/Factory/Operations teams. · International/Africa experience is preferred (Ghana experience is not preferred). · Excellent understanding of manufacturing KPIs, P&L management, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
