Job Description : Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Industry: Building Materials / Allied Industries Location: Mumbai Scale of Business: ?1,000+ Crores Position Overview Native is seeking an exceptional, proven business leader to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a well-established, market-leading organization in the Building Materials industry. This role demands a visionary yet operationally grounded executive who has successfully led large-scale business transformation and accelerated top-line and bottom-line growth. The incoming CEO will take full P&L accountability, guide strategic direction, and orchestrate cross-functional excellence to drive the next phase of organizational scaling. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Leadership & Transformation: Formulate and execute multi-year strategy to accelerate market share, modernize operations, and lead digital/business transformation initiatives across the enterprise. P&L Management: Deliver sustainable profitable growth, operational efficiencies, and working capital optimization across a scale of ?1,000+ Crores. - Cross-Functional Governance: Drive integration and performance across all core functions—Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing & Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement, Finance, and Human Capital. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, key institutional investors, strategic partners, and regulatory bodies. - Culture & Leadership: Foster an agile, high-performance culture, building robust succession plans and mentoring executive-level leadership teams. Candidate Profile & Criteria - Experience & Background Total Experience: 25+ years of progressive professional experience. Leadership Track Record: Minimum 5 years in a C-suite or senior business leadership role (e.g., CEO, Managing Director, President, or Business Unit Head) in their current/latest organization. - Scale Managed: Demonstrated capability in running a P&L of ?1,000 Crores or above. - Industry Domain: Deep expertise in Building Materials (e.g., Cement, Tiles/Sanitaryware, Paints, Glass, Pipes, Steel, Fasteners, Wood Products, Hardware) or closely Allied Industries. Core Competencies & Capabilities - Functional Breadth: Strong end-to-end operational exposure across Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing/Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR. Proven Growth Driver: A track record of driving turnarounds, organic expansion, strategic acquisitions, or market-redefining transformations. - Agility & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills, political acumen, and organizational agility to align diverse, high-level stakeholders (Board, Founders, Key Partners).
