Job Description : HEAD OF PROCUREMENT NIGERIA KEY REQUIREMENTS Extensive experience managing a procurement department Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and international sourcing Experience dealing with manufacturers and suppliers in India, China, UAE, Europe, and other international markets Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills Ability to develop procurement procedures, supplier databases, and cost-control systems Strong leadership and team-management capability International/expatriate procurement experience will be an advantage Experience working in Nigeria or Africa will be highly valued KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Lead and manage the Procurement Department Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally Negotiate contracts and terms Ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery Develop supplier base and maintain strong vendor relationships Implement procurement strategies, processes, and policies Monitor market trends and supplier performance Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
