Job Description : ) FACTORY PLASTIC MANAGER FIJI Manage and supervise overall plastic manufacturing and factory operations. Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production activities. Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines. Manage production manpower, machine utilization and production schedules. Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality. Fit, change, set and adjust moulds according to production requirements. Ensure correct machine and mould settings for efficient production. Identify and resolve production, machine and mould-related issues. Reduce material wastage, rejection, downtime and production losses. Monitor raw material consumption and optimize material utilization. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine breakdowns and downtime. Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process. Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures and operational standards. Monitor machine performance, production efficiency and overall factory productivity. Maintain proper production records, operational documentation and daily production reports. Analyze production reports and take corrective actions where required. Train, guide and supervise production operators and other factory personnel. Ensure proper housekeeping and disciplined working practices across the factory. Coordinate with management regarding production planning, operational challenges and performance. Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and cost control. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in plastic manufacturing/factory operations. Strong hands-on knowledge of plastic production processes and machinery. Experience in mould fitting, mould changing and mould adjustment is essential. Experience managing production teams and factory operations. Strong understanding of production planning, quality control and waste reduction. Ability to troubleshoot production and mould-related problems independently. Good knowledge of production reporting and operational documentation. Strong leadership and manpower management skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of factory operations. Good Hindi or English speaking and listening skills. Willingness to relocate and work in Fiji.
