Job Description : COUNTRY FINANCE HEAD INDONESIA A leading organisation in Jakarta is seeking a Country Head of Finance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of its operations. What you'll do: Serve as a trusted business partner to commercial leaders by providing insightful financial analysis that supports decision-making on new product introductions, including investment evaluation, costing, pricing, and margin analysis. Build deep understanding of product opportunities and translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for business partners and senior leadership. Lead comprehensive financial planning processes across multiple business units, including forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and tracking risks and opportunities. Prepare management reports with detailed interpretation of results, forward projections, and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. Develop robust financial models that support business planning through scenario analysis, viability assessments, and what-if modelling. Maintain product costing and forecasting models for new launches while analysing profitability of newly launched projects against expectations. Support the annual budgeting cycle across FP&A and commercial functions by providing accurate data-driven insights. Influence cross-functional teams on project prioritisation to help deliver against financial targets and guide remediation when needed. Prepare phase gate presentations alongside commercial teams with detailed plans supported by financial metrics. Establish and review financial and non-financial KPIs that drive business performance. What you bring: MBA or equivalent qualification in Business Management, International Business, Accounting or Finance is required for this role. You bring at least 10-12 years post qualifying experience in a large corporate environment with diverse presence across Asia Pacific countries. Previous experience in a multi-national setting in a similar role is essential; you possess strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, reporting standards and effective business partnering. Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent; you can present complex financial information clearly to various audiences ensuring their understanding. You are experienced in phase-gate review processes for new product launches which enables you to support innovation within the organisation. You thrive in fast-paced environments where prioritising tasks efficiently is key; your attention to detail ensures accuracy even under pressure. High level literacy in numeracy coupled with advanced problem-solving abilities allows you to resolve complex challenges effectively. Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerBI, Tableau and PowerPoint enable you to analyse data thoroughly.
