Managing Director

Job Description : Managing Director FMCG Distribution Sector – Malawi Our client, an established FMCG distribution business, is seeking an experienced Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee its operations in Malawi. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability and operational excellence across sales, marketing, distribution, supply chain, finance and human resources. The role will include expanding the company’s distribution network, strengthening relationships with suppliers and customers, improving operational efficiency, managing financial performance and developing a high-performing management team. Key requirements A relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, supply chain management or a related discipline. An MBA or other postgraduate qualification would be an advantage. At least five years’ experience in a senior executive or general management role within the FMCG or distribution sector. Demonstrated experience managing substantial sales and distribution operations. Strong commercial, financial and strategic leadership capabilities. A proven ability to drive growth, manage organisational performance and build effective stakeholder relationships.
