Job Description : CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) — OMAN Location: Oman We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Group of Companies in Oman. The CFO will be responsible for leading the Group’s financial strategy, governance, planning, reporting, risk management, and overall financial performance across multiple business entities. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management across the Group. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, audit, and internal controls. Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and senior management. Monitor the financial performance of individual companies and the Group as a whole. Establish and strengthen financial policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks. Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, working capital, and investment decisions. Lead annual budgets, business plans, financial forecasts, and management reporting. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with applicable Oman laws, regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards. Lead and develop the Group’s finance and accounting teams. Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, restructuring, and other strategic initiatives where applicable. Drive cost optimization, profitability improvement, and sustainable business growth. Present accurate and insightful financial information to the Board and shareholders. Candidate Profile We are looking for a senior finance professional with: 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, Experience working with diversified groups or multi-company organizations. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial controls, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and risk management. Proven experience managing and developing finance teams. Strong commercial and strategic business acumen. Excellent analytical, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience dealing with Boards, shareholders, banks, auditors, and other key stakeholders. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
