Job Description : Commercial Head Commercial Head – East Africa Location - East Africa Industry - Manufacturing Reporting - Managing Director Function - Finance & Commercial Geographic Responsibility - East Africa POSITION SUMMARY The Commercial Finance Head will be responsible for providing strategic and commercial financial leadership to the manufacturing business across East Africa. The role will act as a business partner to the CEO/MD, Commercial Head, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, providing financial insight and analysis to drive revenue growth, profitability, cost efficiency and cash generation. The incumbent will have responsibility for commercial finance, budgeting, forecasting, product costing, pricing, profitability analysis, working capital, business performance management and financial decision support. The role will work closely with the Commercial Head to ensure that revenue growth is achieved profitably and that commercial decisions are supported by robust financial analysis. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Business. * CA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA qualification preferred. Experience * 25 years of overall finance experience. * Minimum 5 years in Commercial Finance / FP&A / Finance Business Partnering / Business Finance. * Strong experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience working closely with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams. * Experience managing finance across multiple countries is strongly preferred. * Previous experience in East Africa is a must * Experience with product costing, pricing and profitability analysis is essential. * Strong working-capital and cash flow experience.
