Job Description : General Manager – Plastics Manufacturing | Ghana (Africa) ???? An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced, hands-on, and commercially driven General Manager to lead the overall operations, performance, profitability, people, and growth of a leading plastics manufacturing organization. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for multiple plastics manufacturingoperations, including: ? PP Sheet Extrusion ? PP Thermoforming ? Injection Moulding (HIPS & GPPS cutlery products) ? Blown Film Extrusion (Monolayer & Multilayer) ? Plastic / PE Recycling ? Maintenance, Utilities, Quality, Warehouse & Production Support Functions Key Responsibilities: • Drive operational excellence, productivity, efficiency, and profitability • Lead production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and commercial functions • Improve OEE, machine utilization, yield, and cost performance • Reduce waste, downtime, and manufacturing losses • Strengthen safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives • Develop and lead high-performing teams across the organization • Support business growth through strong operational and commercial leadership Ideal Candidate: ? 25+ years of plastics manufacturing experience ? Strong hands-on expertise in Blown Film Extrusion (essential) ? Experience in PP Sheet Extrusion & Thermoforming ? Experience in Plastic / PE Recycling preferred ? Injection Moulding experience is an advantage ? Proven track record managing multi-department manufacturing operations ? Strong leadership, technical, analytical, and commercial skills ? Africa/Ghana or emerging market experience will be an added advantage
