Job Description : PROJECT MANAGER – LOAD & HAUL MINING | WEST AFRICA Corica Mining Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Load & Haul Mining to lead a major open-pit mining operation in West Africa. This senior site leadership role has overall responsibility for safety, production, cost performance, client delivery and workforce leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day open-pit load & haul mining operations. Deliver production safely and efficiently against contractual, cost and operational targets. Maintain strong HSE leadership and a visible field presence. Work closely with the Client on mine plans, production requirements and operational priorities. Ensure appropriate personnel, equipment and resources are available to achieve production targets. Drive fleet utilisation, productivity, reliability and continuous improvement. Manage operating budgets, analyse variances and implement cost-saving initiatives. Lead, coach and mentor site managers, superintendents and supervisors. Develop national workforce capability through training, mentoring and succession planning. Promote strong collaboration across Mining, Maintenance, Technical Services and HSE. About You Extensive experience in large-scale open-pit load & haul mining. Strong mining contractor and mobile fleet management experience. Proven delivery against safety, production and cost targets. Strong commercial, budgeting and client-management capability. Experienced in leading multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Previous mining experience in Africa, preferably West Africa, highly regarded.
