Job Description : General Manager / Operations Manager – Commodity Trading | Kenya ???????? We’re looking for an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations for a wholesale soft agri-commodities business covering: ???? Rice | Sugar | Edible Oils | Grains Key focus areas: • Commodity trading & commercial procurement • Bulk & containerized logistics • Vessel chartering, port operations & warehousing • Trade finance, LCs & documentation • Supplier & buyer management • Risk management, compliance & commodity contracts • P&L, working capital & team leadership Ideal candidate: ? 10–20 years of experience in wholesale commodity operations ? Strong experience in a managerial/director-level role ? Strong exposure to soft commodities ? Knowledge of GAFTA, FOSFA & Incoterms ? Experience with bulk shipping, trade finance and ERP systems ????
