Senior R&D – Downstream

Job Description : Senior R&D – Downstream Process Development IRELAND Open to International candidates with 20+ years experience core Downstream Purification experience, with exposure across the complete product cycle — lab-scale development ? pilot scale ? scale-up ? technology transfer ? commercial manufacturing. Key Requirements * Strong, hands-on experience in protein purification / Downstream Process Development (DSP). * Proven experience working in chromatography-based purification systems / DSP environments. * Strong practical exposure to chromatography-based purification, process development, optimisation and scale-up. * Strong understanding of protein chemistry, purification challenges, yield and product quality. * Experience across lab ? pilot ? commercial manufacturing cycle. * Ability to work closely with Manufacturing, MSAT, ARD, QC and QA. * Experience with plasma-derived proteins / complex biologics will be highly preferred. * Ability to lead, mentor and build a downstream R&D team. Professionals whose primary experience is in Upstream, QC, Analytical R&D, Regulatory, Project Management or general Manufacturing, without substantial and continuous Downstream Purification R&D exposure, are not suitable for this position and are requested not to apply. The ideal candidate should have actually worked through the lab ? pilot ? scale-up ? technology transfer ? commercial manufacturing journey in Downstream Process Development.
