Job Description : General Manager (Construction & Project Operations) – Expatriate NIGERIA Are you an accomplished construction executive with a proven track record of leading complex projects, driving operational excellence, and managing multidisciplinary teams? Our client, a leading player in Nigeria's construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced General Manager to provide strategic operational leadership and oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across the business. Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with oversight across company operations) What You'll Be Responsible For * Leading company-wide operations and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. * Providing strategic oversight for multiple construction and infrastructure projects. * Managing and mentoring Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and other senior professionals. * Driving project delivery, operational efficiency, governance, and accountability. * Strengthening internal systems, reporting, and business performance. * Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and executive leadership. What We're Looking For * Minimum of 20 years' leadership experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or project management. * Proven success managing large-scale construction projects and multidisciplinary teams. * Experience with multinational or leading construction, engineering, or project management organizations. * Strong commercial, operational, and project delivery expertise. * Professional certifications such as PMP, CIOB, COREN, ARCON, NSE, or related credentials are an advantage. * Experience working in Nigeria or similar emerging markets is highly desirable. * Expatriate candidates with extensive international construction leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
