Job Description : Plant Head - Stainless Steel (SS) Division - KSA Location : Key Industrial Area of Saudi Arabia The Plant Head of the Stainless Steel (SS) Division leads the production function and ensures effective supervision at all manufacturing stages for SS pipes and tubes. This role drives operational excellence across high-tech production facilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement, technical sales, and plant safety. Key Responsibilities: Production & Operations Management • Lead the end-to-end manufacturing process of the Stainless Steel Pipe & Tube Division. • Supervise and optimize operations for specialized production equipment, including Cold Pilger Mills, Cold Drawing Benches, Induction Bright Annealing, and Online Eddy Current Testing. • Ensure stringent quality control and effective supervision at all stages of manufacturing. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Provide technical expertise and assistance to the Marketing and Sales teams on complex engineering aspects. • Advise the Purchase and Planning functions on raw material specifications and procurement strategy. • Align production schedules with market demands and material availability. Continuous Improvement & Workforce Development • Implement continuous improvement methodologies across the production floor. • Train and mentor engineering staff on problem-solving tools, specifically Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and high performance. Required Profile & Qualifications: Education Degree: Bachelors Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and reputable institute. Experience Duration: 15 to 20 years of hands-on, progressive experience in the manufacturing sector. Core Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of manufacturing Cold Finished Seamless tubes. Technical Skills & Material Exposure Material Knowledge: Preferred expertise handling advanced materials, including: Austenitic, Ferritic, Super-Ferritic, and Super-Austenitic stainless steels. Duplex and Super Duplex alloys. Titanium. Systems: Hands-on exposure to working within an SAP ERP environment is highly preferred.
