20 yearsJob Description : ADMIN HEAD NIGERIA 15+ years experience The Senior Administration & Statutory Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing the company's administrative operations and ensuring timely compliance with applicable Nigerian statutory, regulatory and government requirements. The position will coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, consultants, vendors and internal departments to ensure that licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, filings and statutory obligations are completed within the required . Key Responsibility 1. Nigerian Statutory & Regulatory Compliance Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian statutory and regulatory requirements. Prepare and maintain a comprehensive statutory compliance calendar. • Track expiry dates of licenses, permits, certificates, registrations and other statutory documents. Ensure timely renewals, submissions, payments and filings. Maintain proper records and supporting documents for all statutory compliance matters. Monitor changes in applicable Nigerian laws and regulations and advise management on relevant requirements. Coordinate statutory inspections, audits and regulatory visits. Ensure timely closure of compliance observations and regulatory requirements. 2. Government Liaison & Regulatory Affairs Liaise with relevant Nigerian government ministries, departments and regulatory agencies. Handle official correspondence, submissions, applications and follow-ups with government authorities. Coordinate government inspections and visits. Follow up on approvals, permits, licenses, certificates and registrations. Maintain professional working relationships with relevant government officials and external consultants. Escalate critical compliance issues to management in a timely manner. 3. Administration Management Manage day-to-day general administration activities of the company. Maintain records of company assets, administrative documents and service agreements. 4. Licenses, Permits & Certificates Maintain a central database of all company licenses, permits, registrations and certificates. Monitor renewal requirements and ensure there is no lapse in validity. Coordinate applications and renewals with relevant authorities. Ensure all statutory documents are properly filed and readily available for inspection or audit. Prepare periodic management reports on the status of licenses and regulatory approvals. 5. Statutory Contributions & Compliance Documentation Coordinate applicable statutory registrations, payments and compliance documentation. Liaise with relevant authorities and service providers regarding statutory obligations. Maintain evidence of statutory payments, certificates, receipts and submissions. Ensure documentation is complete and available for internal and external audits. 6. Compliance Reporting Key Skills & Competencies Qualifications & Experience Key Attributes Prepare monthly and periodic statutory compliance reports for management. Maintain a compliance tracker showing requirement, regulatory authority, due date, renewal date, status, responsible person and supporting documents. Immediately highlight overdue or high-risk compliance matters. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Nigerian statutory and regulatory compliance. Government liaison and regulatory follow-up. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Strong documentation and record-keeping skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive regulatory matters. High level of integrity and confidentiality Qualifications & Experience MBA / PGDM in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce or a related field. 10-14 years of overall professional experience in Administration, Statutory Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or a related field. Mandatory experience working in Nigeria. Strong practical knowledge of Nigerian statutory and regulatory requirements. Experience dealing with Nigerian government authorities and regulatory agencies. Experience in manufacturing, industrial or multinational organizations will be an advantage. Professional certification in Compliance, Administration or a related field will be an advantage.
