General Manager

Job Description : HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER – MOSHI, TANZANIA ???????? Exciting opportunity for an experienced, commercially driven General Manager to take full ownership of a well-established 50-key hotel at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Currently 3-star, the property has excellent potential to operate at a strong 4-star level. Ownership is looking for a GM who can take the hotel into its next chapter — improving service, reputation, revenue and profitability. This is NOT an office-based GM role. We need a visible, hands-on hotelier who will run the property as if it were their own business. Key requirements: • Proven Hotel GM / senior hotel operations experience • Strong Rooms and F&B knowledge • Excellent commercial and revenue-management ability • Full P&L, budgeting and cost-control experience • Ability to drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, F&B and events • Strong relationships with tour operators, travel trade, corporates and local business • Excellent leadership and guest-service skills • East/Southern African or international tourism experience advantageous • Preferably 45 years or younger for this long-term appointment • Must be prepared to fully relocate to Moshi, Tanzania PACKAGE: Competitive local/expatriate executive package, benefits and potential performance incentives — negotiable according to calibre and experience.
