Job Description : CEO IVC CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER FORMULATION PHARMACEUTICALS Location: Grand-Bassam, Cte dIvoire | Company: Africure Pharmaceuticals A Division of B5 Plus Group | Reporting: Board of Directors / Promoters | English: Essential | French: Highly Desirable / Preferred POSITION SUMMARY Africure Pharmaceuticals is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the next phase of growth, transformation and business development of its formulation pharmaceutical operations in Cte dIvoire. The CEO will hold an end-to-end leadership mandate covering strategy, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, commercial growth, financial performance and organizational development, with accountability for building a profitable, compliant, scalable and high-performing pharmaceutical platform across Cte dIvoire, West Africa and wider Sub-Saharan Africa. EDUCATION B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline. MBA/PGDM in Business Management, Finance, Marketing or Operations preferred. Additional qualifications in Pharmaceutical Management, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Leadership will be advantageous. AFRICA / WEST AFRICA – CRITICAL DIFFERENTIATOR Strong preference for practical pharmaceutical business experience in African markets, particularly West Africa and/or Francophone Africa. Exposure to distributor and institutional networks, regulatory and government interfaces, product registration and market access, cross-border pharmaceutical supply chains, multicultural teams and emerging-market operations will be a significant advantage. IDEAL EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE 20+ years of overall pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including 10+ years in senior leadership/business management. Proven experience in formulation manufacturing and pharmaceutical operations, with strong Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) exposure; experience in large-scale manufacturing, multidisciplinary team leadership, P&L management, plant expansion, CAPEX, operational improvement and business transformation.
