Job Description : Head, Operations Location: Port-Harcourt, Nigeria We are seeking an experienced Head, Operations to lead our marine fleet. You will ensure vessels are safely deployed, fully compliant, and operated in line with client and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day marine operations, vessel scheduling, and port logistics. Drive optimal vessel utilisation and coordinate maintenance schedules with the Technical team. Manage client relationships, service delivery, and operational input for tenders. Coordinate crew readiness and shore-to-vessel communication. Lead safety management, HSE compliance, and emergency response. Control the Operations OPEX budget and drive cost efficiency. Monitor operational KPIs and lead a high-performing operations team. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Operations, Nautical Science, or a related engineering discipline. Experience: 8–10 years in marine/offshore/shipping operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role. Skills: Strong expertise in maritime safety regulations, vessel deployment, budgeting, incident management, and stakeholder engagement.
