HEAD OF SECURITY

Job Description : HEAD OF SECURITY GREENLAND FOR MINING HARDSHIP POSITION Open to International candidates , ex military, Major or above with 20+ years experience in security operations, at least 10 in corporate world preferably mining oversees site protection, asset security, emergency response, and risk management across plants, mines, and townships. Key Responsibilities • Asset Protection: Secure company property, high-value material transport, processing plants, and residential townships against theft or damage. • Access Control & Surveillance: Implement strict perimeter and entry protocols, managing security staff and monitoring CCTV surveillance systems. • Risk & Emergency Management: Conduct risk assessments, develop disaster and emergency response plans, and manage critical incidents like fires or medical emergencies. • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce local health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining compliance with mining and labor laws. • Law Enforcement Liaison: Build and maintain strong cooperative relationships with local police, military, and regional government agencies. • Investigations: Lead internal investigations into security breaches, asset loss, or workplace incidents, documenting findings objectively. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). [ • Experience: 10 to 15+ years of progressive security experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role within high-risk sectors like mining, energy, or heavy industry. • Core Skills: Exceptional crisis management, strategic planning, cross-cultural leadership, and proficiency in modern surveillance and access control technologies. • Certifications: Valid security licenses, first aid certification, and military or law enforcement background are distinct advantages.
