Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (Group) | FinTech | MENA We're conducting a retained search for an exceptional Group Chief Operating Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team of a fast-growing, multi-market FinTech business operating across the Middle East and North Africa. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale a modern, customer-focused organisation from the ground up. This is not a traditional corporate COO position—it is a highly hands-on leadership role requiring someone who thrives in building businesses, creating operating models, implementing processes and driving execution across multiple markets. Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is essential, along with a strong understanding of banking regulations, obtaining licences and managing compliance across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will lead the Group Operations function with responsibility for customer service, compliance operations, B2B operations, and country operations. You will drive consistency, operational excellence, automation and standardisation while ensuring each market delivers against ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex, multi-country operations, delivering large-scale transformation programmes and building resilient, high-performing teams. You'll be equally comfortable setting strategic direction and rolling up your sleeves to solve operational challenges, implement change and create scalable platforms for future growth.
