Job Description : GROUP PROCUREMENT HEAD – PROJECT PROCUREMENT We are urgently looking for a senior procurement professional to lead Project Procurement for a Steel Plant. ???? Location: Ethiopia ???? Position: Group Procurement Head – Project Procurement ???? Industry: Steel / Heavy Engineering / Industrial Projects ? Experience: 15–25+ Years ???? Qualification: Mechanical Engineering preferred ? Joining: Immediate / Short Notice Preferred ???? Key Requirements: • Strong experience in Project Procurement / CAPEX Procurement • Proven experience in Steel Plant / Steel Project Procurement • Strong exposure to procurement of mechanical equipment, machinery & heavy engineering packages • Expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development & Supplier Management • Strong commercial negotiation & contract management skills • Experience handling large-value procurement and project budgets • Ability to lead and manage a procurement team • Strong coordination with Engineering, Projects, Planning, Finance & Site teams • SAP/ERP procurement experience preferred ? Preferred Background: Candidates from Steel Plants, EPC Companies, Heavy Engineering, Metals, Manufacturing or Large Industrial Projects will be preferred. A Mechanical Engineering background with hands-on steel plant project procurement experience would be a strong advantage.
