Job Description : HEAD OF PLANT – SWEDEN | AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING Location: Sweden Industry: Automotive / Auto Components / Industrial Manufacturing Experience: 15–25+ Years Nationality: Indian Language: Fluent/Professional Swedish & English Role Overview We are looking for an accomplished Plant Head / Plant Manager / Site Manager / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager to take complete ownership of a large-scale manufacturing facility in Sweden. The ideal candidate will be an Indian professional with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Sweden, strong command of the Swedish language and a proven track record of leading manufacturing operations in the automotive or auto-component industry. The candidate should have managed a manufacturing workforce of 100+ employees, with responsibility for production, quality, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, EHS, operational excellence and workforce productivity. Key Responsibilities · Lead end-to-end plant operations and deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Productivity targets. · Manage and develop a workforce of 100+ employees across production and support functions. · Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, OEE and continuous improvement initiatives. · Own production planning, capacity utilization, manpower productivity and manufacturing efficiency. · Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR and Finance teams. · Drive cost reduction, waste elimination and operational excellence. · Ensure compliance with Swedish regulatory, safety, environmental and labour requirements. · Build strong relationships with employees, unions, customers, suppliers and global leadership. · Lead transformation, automation, new product introduction and plant expansion initiatives where required. Ideal Profile Candidates from Scania, Volvo, Autoliv, SKF, Sandvik, ABB, Valmet, Alfa Laval, Tetra Pak, Atlas Copco, Husqvarna, Electrolux, Northvolt or comparable Swedish/European manufacturing organizations are preferred. Must-have: Indian nationality, 5+ years Sweden experience, fluent Swedish, automotive/manufacturing background and demonstrated leadership of a 100+ employee plant/workforce.
