Level: General Manager / Senior Leadership Role Overview We are looking for an accomplished General Manager – Mining Projects & Operations to lead mining project development, execution and operational management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling large-scale mining operations as well as greenfield/brownfield projects, commissioning and production ramp-up. Key Responsibilities Lead mining projects from concept ? feasibility ? engineering ? construction ? commissioning ? ramp-up ? operations. Drive mine planning, production, drilling, blasting, excavation, haulage and associated operations. Manage CAPEX, OPEX, budgets, schedules and project resources. Lead EPC/EPCM contractors, consultants, OEMs and multidisciplinary teams. Optimize HEMM/equipment fleet, productivity, utilization and operating costs. Ensure seamless transition from project execution to commercial operations. Drive safety, statutory compliance, environmental and ESG standards. Manage project risks, contractors, stakeholders and government authorities. Implement operational excellence, cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives. Ideal Candidate A strategic yet hands-on mining leader with 20–30+ years of experience, including significant exposure to mining operations + project execution, large CAPEX projects, commissioning and multidisciplinary leadership. International mining exposure will be an advantage.
