Job Description : COMMERCIAL HEAD MINING OPERATIONS MOZAMBOUQUE 15-20 years experience We are hiring an experienced Head of Commercial for a large-scale mining operation in Mozambique. The role will be responsible for leading all commercial, contractual, vendor management, and dispute resolution activities across the mining project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Lead commercial and contract administration activities for mining operations. - Manage contract execution, compliance, claims, disputes, and arbitration processes. - Handle vendor selection, negotiations, and performance management. - Ensure adherence to local regulations and commercial governance requirements. - Develop and implement SOPs in collaboration with technical and operational teams. - Monitor project commercial performance, reporting, and stakeholder management. - Support mining, CHPP and logistics operations from a commercial perspective. Candidate Profile: - Engineering graduate preferred. - 15 - 20 years of experience in Commercial & Contract Administration. - Strong exposure to mining, minerals, coal, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects. - Experience in contract management, arbitration, claims management, and vendor administration. - Prior exposure to African markets, preferably Mozambique or Southern Africa, is highly desirable. - Proven leadership experience managing large commercial functions.
